MEET LINDA
Linda Buckel
For nearly 25 years, Linda Buckel has focused on the representation of injured workers in Workers’ Compensation claims, plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation, general civil litigation, and more.
One of the first active female litigators in Western Maryland, she became an attorney after a 20 year career working in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Allegany County, Maryland. Her roots are in Western Maryland and knowledge of our local court systems is deep and thorough.
Linda has handled hundreds of cases before the Maryland Workers’ Compensation
Commission. Over the course of her career, she has recovered millions of dollars in compensation and benefit awards. She also serves as counsel on behalf of plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury matters, including automobile tort, premises liability, uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage cases, and general negligence claims.
A former Assistant State’s Attorney for Allegany County and Assistant County Attorney for a number of years, Ms. Buckel continues to practice in the field of criminal defense, representing clients in a range of matters including driving while intoxicated and other motor vehicle offenses.
Linda is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Frostburg State University and the University of Baltimore School of Law.
